Professional dance teacher Katie Holmes, 24, took over the studio three months ago and is offering it for hire for dance classes, band rehearsal space and a wide range of other activities.

She said: "On Sunday we'll start with free tester workshops. These begin with pole dancing, then Bollywood dancing, street dancing, breakdancing and then belly dancing. There will also be aeroba-martialarts and Zumba classes.

"There will be performances from 5.30pm onwards by some of our clients and then Chichino will round the day off with a gig at 7pm."

The event is free but all proceeds raised from a raffle and food and drink sales will go to the NSPCC.

Six-piece Chichino are currently finishing off their debut album and scheduling releases for singles.

Narelle said: "We needed a large space to do a few rehearsals as we are busy vamping up our stage shows and we needed the studio's floor length mirrors to see how it was coming across visually.

"The studio was the perfect place, value for money and a secure car park so we could load up easily."
