Children at Middleton St Mary's C of E Primary School dressed up in recycled outfits - all in the name of education.
The school staged its very own fashion show, but with a difference. Every outfit must have been made up of re-used items and all the goods must have been bought before last Christmas.
Forty-four children took part in the event which was staged to raise money for school funds, as well as to teach the children about sustainability and how things can be recycled without necessarily taking it to charity shops.
Sarah Tarrant, a teaching assistant at the school, said: "The show was a part of lessons the children had about becoming more environmentally friendly. Each child also has their own bit of garden in the school where they grow vegetables.
"We are trying to make the children question what can be re-used and we believe that getting them to make recycled outfits certainly did this."
Over 70 guests turned up to watch the show and they were treated to a glass of pink champagne. There was also a prize for the two best dressed members of the audience, who were definitely not in recycled clothes.
Mrs Tarrant added: ."We did not expect to get so many guests and the hall was pretty full by the time the fashion show started.
"We repeated the show the following morning for the rest of the school and I think the boys enjoyed it more than the girls.
"The year five students seemed to really get into it and I think there is a great chance we will be doing it again next year."
