Skelton Grange Environment Centre is looking for volunteers to help keep the area 'green'.
The environmental education centre in Stourton is holding a range of volunteering events this month for young people who would like to do something different for a day.

They include planting fruit bushes and herbs for a sensory garden and tree planting.

The events are free and aimed at 16 to 25-year-olds although all over 16s are welcome.

Lunch will be included so places need to be booked by mailing skelton@btcv.org.uk or calling Leeds 2430815.

Project officer at Skelton Grange Toby Roberts said: "These events are a great opportunity for peopleto try out volunteering and to help keep Skelton Grange's wildlife area looking great for visiting children.

"You don't need to have any experience – just come and give it a try."
