I'm researching some family history in your area, as most of my relations come from Middleton they date back to around 1812.
The family name is Waudby. The names I have are Elijah Waudby, born 1812 and William Waudby born 1846.

I'm looking for background information on my grandmother and grandfather (Charles and Polly Brabin) who lived at 67 Middleton Park Grove in Middleton in the 1940's-60's.

My great grandfather Frederick Kenyon was born in Cross Street, Middleton in 1864.
His parents were Frederick and Ann Kenyon, who had four other children, also born in Middleton, John,James, Alfred and Mary.
I am looking for any information about my great grandfather's siblings and his parents.
Any information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

My great great grandmother Selina Brooks was born at Cheap Street, Hunslet in 1875, to an unmarried woman named Elizabeth, who was from London and Exeter. Elizabeth married a fireman named William Pearson and he took Selina and her older brother William on as his own. The family moved to Frost Fold, Hunslet. I believe both streets have since been demolished. Selina married John Johnson and had 4 sons and 1 daughter before dying in 1912. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Perhaps you share the same ancestry? I'd love to hear from you.
